  1. Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to apply to the post of trainee journalist at Riddlesdown times. I am a very hard working, young, social able character who is up for this role. I am up for any challenge as I was head girl the pupils and teachers voted for me this meant I am approachable. Head girl involved being very busy and you had to decide on important things. I did juke of Edinburgh which was very fun and saw what you have to appreciate. I was a mentor for pupils in lower years and helped them with their problems. I was the organiser for fun day events that involved full effort and thinking, it was a great experience. I did year book committee and it involved listening, organisation and thinking.
I have many skills, through the years I’ve experienced some cases where you are at a challenge and it became difficult but I didn’t give up and I got through it. I got an A in English so I am very good at reading and writing. I got an A also in other subjects such as drama, history, French and geography, and got a B in maths and science.
I am quite an outgoing, confident person and as I was head girl I spoke assembly’s and worked with others. I was caring for younger people. I am a helpful person who loves reading, writing and creating things. I find learning fun and interesting! I think I would be good for this job. I look forward to hearing your reply; I feel I am perfectly suited for this job.
    Yours faithfully,
    Hannah Powell.
