Homework - The Criciuble - Diary Entry




Your homework task this week was to create a diary entry for any of the characters we have met in The Crucible so far.  You were asked to post it inthe comments section below this post once you had finished it, or submit it to me in person if you were unable to do this.

    dear diary

    Today i found out that my wife was suspected for witchcraft and she has been taken to the sheriff. Tomorrow I will go to court and defend her, wish me luck.

      1. Write more for a homework task. You could have extended this diary entry.
      2. use a capital when write the word "I"

    19th April 1692 (John Proctor)
    I can’t believe it my wife Elizabeth Proctor was convicted of being a witch and now she’s in the god damn prison and awaiting trial. If that Abigail girl hadn’t stuck her nose in my business then this would never have happened and she would’ve been the one in prison, where she belongs and hopefully will be put in prison where she shall see out her days.

    Matt, a well phrased and convincing diary entry. Very believable.

    Targets:
    1. Make sure you use a range of punctuation. If you don't use a question mark, for example, the examiner / marker does not know you can use it.
